Roll Combo

December 6, 2009

I parted a large square in the front slightly to the right and made megarolls.  After rolling the front down with my regular megaroll technique, I tied the remaining hair up with a knee high and rolled the hair down piece by piece like the cinna-buns style.

Thank you. I usually put some Oyinhandmade Shine and Define Styling Serum on my hair to smooth it up with a boar bristle brush and then tie it up with a satin scarf (for a few minutes in the morning or overnight depending on when I styled). The trick, in my opinion, is to style on freshly washed and air dried hair.

I love this! I love Cinnabuns and I dig your modification of it. How do you prep your hair for the updos?

Thanks Efe. I usually style freshly washed and airdried hair. Aside from rubbing a little coconut oil on my hair before manipulating it, I don’t do much prepping. I don’t even use the coconut oil each time. For my updos a boar bristle brush and lots of bobby pins and hair pins are musts.
