The Textured Puff

Sometimes you have to improvise.  I created this textured puff one morning when I was pressed for time and could not do my usual rounded puff.

I unraveled the twists that I had put in after washing the night before.  I spritzed my hair with some water, finger combed at the roots a bit to pile all my hair high at the back of my head and smoothed some pomade onto my hairline and nape.  After brushing my hairline with a boar bristle brush, I secured my hair with a black knee high.  Once I tucked in the ends of the knee high, I simply fluffed out my puff.  A final spritzing of Oyin’s Juices and Berries and I was all done.

I’ve been using this easy do as my “go to” style more often recently since I added more work out days to my weekly schedule.  More gym time means more cleansing time because I have to rinse the sweat out of my hair after a good trip to the gym; I don’t always have the time to do my usual styling the following morning.  More pics and tips to preserve this style to come.

so how often do you wash it per week . Have you always used the bristle brush ? i know it probably does the job but i also know it is harsher on the cuticles. I’m thinking that if you have been using it since your BC then it might not be that dangerous. Finally, how is the juice and berries work for you? Do you have to put it in every day ? Does is really detangle ? Do you know any product that works the same ? lol i can’t believe i found you so i have to catch up
